My blog is starting off fresh due to my state of reaction to my hosting expiring. But this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. There’s a lot I discovered about myself in the span of three months without blogging.
Firstly, I’m really not much of a daily blogger. I did it for a whole year, and I still don’t understand how some people stay sane doing it. I don’t have the patience to sit at my computer nor do I have enough time or things to say. I’ll be honest. Kudos to the people that do though. I supposed I’ll eventually get to that point once it’s been a few solid years on the same hosting with archived content.
Secondly, when I was daily blogging, I almost felt like it was a chore. I would scramble for topics to write about, and slowly, I stopped wanting to write. I never want that to happen again. Writing is a passion that I want to share with my readers, so unless I have something I’m truly enticed to write about, I won’t.
Thirdly, my duo-career lifestyle is really taking a toll on me. On one side, I’m a retail sales manager. On the other, I’m a content creator on YouTube, partnered with one of the coolest MCNs, Muchmusic. My true goal is to work in marketing/communications (alongside my YouTube gig) since I have so much experience with social media and the digital platform.
That being said, cheers to this new beginning!
